Finkelstein Thompson LLP is investigating allegations that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: APPL) is double billing customers for music purchases made on iTunes.
According to two recently filed complaints, some Apple customers are purchasing songs on iTunes, only to find that they must re-purchase the same song in order to have access to it. Apple is alleged to have refused refunds to customers that were billed twice for the same song.
Based on these complaints Finkelstein Thompson LLP is also investigating whether customers are having similar experiences with apps purchased through Apple’s App Store.
